Tiger Tuesday

Many, many, many years ago and who really can tell how many there were tigers.  You want a number?  I can’t give you one- I’m not a scientist, I’m just a storyteller here to meow out loud…

The History of Tigers Part 1!

I know what you’re thinking.  How many parts are there?  It’s endless!  Tigers are a gorgeous animal that should be talked about, meowed about and yowled about constantly.  So, where’s a good place to start?  The beginning, of course-

          The saber-tooth tiger of course!

Wait a meow-minute, you mean that wasn’t a tiger?  It wasn’t technically a tiger?  How in the meow could you call something a tiger and then decide it’s not a tiger?  Did anyone ever tell him about it?  I’ll tell you what let’s paw around and see if we can find a saber-toothed tiger and get the story straight.  Oh don’t worry you can stills search them out-if you know where to paw.  Humans don’t know everything after all.  Wait!  Is that one now!  Meee-yeah! Let’s get a word.

          “Mr. Saber-Tooth! Mr. Saber-Tooth!”

Did the ‘tiger talk’ well, stay tuned.  The History of Cats Part One will continue on Siberian Tiger Sunday!
