Take note that this can is categorized as 'Endangered' and
the population is decreasing. It's safe to assume that the it
will decline further in the next few years due to the fact that this is a cat of the wetlands
and lowland forest areas and these areas are being destroyed in record numbers.
There are an estimated 2499 of them in the wild.
