Fishing Cat Friday

          Meeee-ow pals and I know what you’re what you’re thinking….

What happened to Fiona the Fishing Cat, Fuzzy and Toni?  Well, meeee-wow the gang had a great time chilling with Fiona and the rest of the gang.  Meee-wow, zoo animals knew how to paw-ty BIG TIME but the time came that they had to head back to Fuzzy and Toni’s place.  The question is- what was up with Fiona the Fishing Cat?  What was she up to next?

Well, Fiona was on her own and didn’t really have anyone to go home to.  She thought it would be a good idea to hang at Fuzzy and Toni’s house.  Naturally, the kitties had no problem with this and why would they?  It would be purr-fectly cool to have a Fishing Cat around the house.  With that being meowed, it seemed like that Fiona was here to stay.  So, now what?

It was Christmas and the kitties were ready to get a Christmas tree and Fiona couldn’t wait.  “Where do we get a Christmas tree?”  asked Fiona.

Fuzzy’s whiskers twitched and tail swished.  “We usually head down towards the creek and paw around for one but there’s a huge problem.”

Meee-uhoh.  This wasn’t going to be good.  “What’s the problem?”  she asked.

“There’s something going around killing all of the trees,” she meowed.  “I think it’s some kind of beetle.  We might not be able to find one!  Hey wait!”  she yowled at Fiona.  “Where are you going?”

Fiona was heading towards the bottom of the hill.  “I’m going to go look for a tree,” she answered.  “I’ll find one don’t you worry!”

          So, Fiona started swimming…

          …and swimming…

          …and swimming…

How far did she go?  Well, who knows?  She was driven by the need for a Christmas tree so there wasn’t any kind of concern about how far she was going.  Eventually, she came to the surface and couldn’t believe what she saw.

She was in the middle of a Christmas tree farm!  As she came out of the water, she noted that there were all kinds of tree with the most beautiful lights she had ever seen!  Fiona figured that she had to have swum for miles.  Where in the fuzzy fur did some of these beautiful trees come from?  Who put the lights all over them?  How was she going to get one back to Fuzzy?  As she studied the area , Fiona did notice something interesting…

          There wasn’t anyone around!

This was really getting weird.  (For the record, Fiona had only swum about 5 miles down the road.)  Maybe she should go bac but just as she headed for the water she saw a gold and white cat in the distance…

Here it turned out that Fiona the Fishing Cat swam into the Christmas tree park that honored all kitties that went over the Rainbow Bridge.  Now, Fiona ended up seeing trees that were decorated that honored Fuzzy’s pals, from Casey to Barney to the great Baby.  This was what you call a sacred place- a place to admire the decorating and to soothe any troubled mind.  With all of that being meowed, Fiona, didn’t do anything about look at the beautiful trees and slowly ap-purr-ciated the great year that she had.  What a pawsome gift she had been given here to see all of these beautiful trees- she only wished that she could’ve told Fuzzy all about it!

Wait- I know what you’re thinking what happened to the gold and white cat?  Well, to be purr-fectly honest Fiona wasn’t sure but it didn’t really matter.  Maybe it was a spirit of one of the kitties that died.  She wasn’t sure but something clicked inside that she had to get the meow out of there and get out fast.

When Fiona pawed down to the creek, she saw one thing waiting for her- a tree- a beautiful, small tree with special decorations on it that looked like the kitty she saw!  As she took it back and pointed it out to Fuzzy- Fuzzy told her that was her wonderful stepdad, who she missed meowy much.  This tree was absolutely the most purr-fect thing ever bepaws it bought her friends Smokey, Casey, Barney and Baby home for Christmas even if it was only on a tree!

          Merry Christmas everybody!
